"Julie Catterson Lindahl's book, On My Swedish Island: Discovering the Secrets of Scandinavian Well-Being is really about much more than the title suggests. This book is a wonderful companion for living simply, elegantly, and fully in a world that values speed and consumption more than breathing, tasting, and delighting in the beauty that surrounds us if we'd only take the time to look."

- Sarah Susanka

"I am trying to get back into my Norwegian roots as a way of finding exercise and health/diet. I have tried every 'diet' out there and they have failed. We Americans and now more global, suffer from sitting all day in our offices, no nature, fast, easy food, and worst of all disconnected to our spirit and passions/joy.So, I am connecting with my Mom's (Norwegian) past. So any nutrition advice? Cookbooks for Americans? I hope you might be working on a cookbook...? Maybe?"

- Greg, Minnesota, USA
