Stories for Society

As a writer I have learned that the process of telling a story is a highly effective means of processing information, connecting thoughts and exploring emotions. During my years of English story reading for young Swedish children I discovered that children had their own stories to tell. Therefore together with colleagues in 2010 I created a method for bringing story-telling into classrooms as a tool for teaching. Stories for Society/Berättelser för Samhället is a non-profit organisation founded in order to develop this method and to create training for teachers and other child educators and carers.
